Ramadan 2026 ("the App") is developed and maintained by World of Z. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
The App does not have user accounts, analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
The App requests your device's approximate location solely to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your area. Location data is:
The App schedules local notifications on your device for prayer-time reminders, adhan alerts, and daily dua reminders. These notifications are entirely on-device; no push notification service or external server is involved. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or the in-app menu.
The App plays a bundled adhan audio file at prayer times. Dua recitation audio is streamed from Cloudinary (a content-delivery network) when you tap the Arabic text of a dua. No personal data is sent with these audio requests. No microphone access is requested or used.
The App offers optional tip-jar purchases processed entirely through your device's app store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information. All transactions are governed by the store's terms and privacy policies.
If you choose to contact us via the "Write to Us" feature, the App opens your device's default email client. We only receive the information you voluntarily include in your email. We do not share your contact information with third parties.
The App includes an optional "Live Mosque" feature (currently available to users in the United States) that lets you find and view live prayer-time information from nearby mosques. When you use this feature:
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). The App is suitable for all ages and contains no age-restricted content.
The App allows you to share a dua as an image card via the native share sheet. A temporary image is generated on-device and shared using your operating system's built-in sharing mechanism. No data is uploaded to our servers.
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is no user data at risk. All user preferences — including language, notification settings, favorite duas, tasbeeh counts, cached prayer times, selected mosque, and detected country code — are stored locally on your device using standard platform storage and are never transmitted externally.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
